Captain Patric is a lifelong angler who grew up in Southwest AL near Mobile Bay. Patric owns Ugly Fishing LLC fishing guide service, which began in 2010. Being on the water over 200 days per year gives Patric opportunities to become a student of the water and leader in the fishing community. He regularly provides fishing information on the Alabama Saltwater Fishing Report podcast and has been a guest on numerous other fishing podcasts. Capt. Patric participates in several fishing tournaments and is the previous state record holder for Sheepshead in Alabama. He has been featured in numerous shows with Barry Stokes on Fox Sports Outdoors and Let’s Fish TV, in addition to dozens of episodes of Fox 10 Outdoors with Jason Smith. Patric is featured as a fishing coach in the Salt Strong Flounder Mastery Course.
Captain Richard Rutland grew up in Mobile, Alabama and has been fishing the local waters of Mobile Bay for over 15 years. After 4 years in the US Navy, Captain Richard returned to Mobile to pursue his dream of becoming a charter captain. He is dedicated to making your guided fishing trip as fun and safe as possible. Captain Richard is extremely into Angler Education. He gives many seminars and is always teaching someone something new every chance he gets. Richard has won several inshore professional angler tournaments and is especially accomplished in winning Speckled Trout related events.
Capt Bobby is the owner and founder of A-Team Fishing Adventures with 40 years of experience fishing waters adjacent to Dauphin Island. He has been featured on over twenty nationally aired outdoor television shows and has had over 50 magazine articles. Capt. Bobby is a regular winner in local tournaments, including 3 Alabama Inshore Trail Championship titles, and multiple redfish tour wins including a world championship and over $250,000.00 in tournament winnings.

Speckled Specialist Fishing Charters | Jacksonville, NC
Captain Ricky Kellum, aka the "Speckled Specialist", is a fishing guide from Jacksonville, North Carolina who covers territory from Morehead City to Surf City. He is an accomplished inshore fisherman and considered one of the most knowledgeable in his area. Ricky consistently lands trophy fish and is regarded as an expert in his craft. Kellum spends a great deal of time on these waters, knows where the trout are and how to put his clients on the fish.
Capt Asa is a very personable and knowledgeable guide with a great understanding of his fishery. He uses only top of the line equipment and is quick to put his clients on the fish.
Capt. Bobby Carroll fishes out of the Tampa Bay area of Florida, targeting inshore Fish such as snook, redfish, trout and cobia . For offshore he targets grouper, kingfish, amberjack and anything that swims! Bobby is also a tournament angler who fishes the Florida pro redfish series and the IFA.
Capt. Mike is a 3rd generation fishing guide along the Mississippi coast. He knows what it takes to put you on the fish whether you choose to stay close to shore on a half day trip, push a little further into the Biloxi Marsh on a full day adventure, or go full pirate on an exclusive multi day trip to the famous Chandeleur Islands. Targeted species include speckled trout, redfish, triple tail, flounder, drum, sheepshead, sharks, and many more.
Capt. Keith is a United States Coast Guard approved OUPV Charter Captain and an avid outdoorsman. From fishing the coastal waters of the great states of Mississippi / East Louisiana marsh, bowhunting the “Big Woods” of southern Illinois, to chasing turkeys in south Mississippi, his love and respect for the outdoors has been the driving force behind becoming a charter captain.
Captin Josh enjoys teaching people the technical aspects of fishing, such as what to use or where to fish, but also helping them comprehend the underlying principles behind our actions. By understanding the "why" behind our strategies, we can position ourselves for success in the most rewarding and fulfilling way.
Capt. JayO has been fishing the waters of Mobile Bay and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. Over his career, he has won and placed in numerous tournaments in the Mobile Bay area. Some of his accolades include:
Being an Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Champion along with other placings in the Rodeo.
Three-time Alabama Coastal Fisherman's Association Big Fish Champion.
Setting 3 different Alabama Coastal Fisherman's Association all-time records.
Plus many other local tournament victories and showings.
His favorite fish to target are Trophy Speckled Trout and Tripletail.
Scott Ellzey – Known for his YouTube Channel and fishing brand Gulf2bay, fishes the Gulf Coast in pursuit of sharing and teaching new fishermen to fish. Scott grew up near the Gulf and has been fishing the Mobile area for over 25 years targeting bass and speckled trout. Scott’s passion for fishing started at a young age when his mom would take him to the Dauphin Island pier and his dad regularly taking the family Red Snapper fishing in a 1968 16-foot Cobia. Once introduced, Scott was HOOKED and fishing has become a part of life. Scott served in the United States Coast Guard for 5 years and Served in the Air National Guard as a commissioned officer for 6 years. Scott is accomplished in winning several local fishing tournaments from boats and kayaks. “See you on the Water!!!”

Kyle is a well-known tournament angler who loves to target speckled trout, redfish and snook. He frequently competes in the Power Pole Redfish series, hosts several local tournamentsand is a
strong partner of both Pure Flats and Release Over 20. Kyle loves to mentor other anglers and is one of our best subject matter experts in SW FL. He has won 2 Flatsmasters and finished top 3 in several inshore tournaments from SW FL to Louisiana. Kyle is active in several fishery conservation efforts.
